Cybermed Update June 2002
- Women have babies and men provide the support. If you don't like the way we're made you've got to take it up with God.
O&G Web sites
It has been a loooong time since I wrote my last article. A combination of being busy and an excuse not to write. Sometimes I wonder if just providing links to some sites which I feel is good is worthwhile placing in Berita MMA. At times I also wonder how many find this information useful. One thing I know, when I need to look for information, I somehow can find it from a link at my web site.
Today's long overdue article is a result of a presentation I did at the recent 12th Malaysian Congress of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The presentation was on " Internet and the O&G Specialist" as a pre-congress workshop. Two interesting things I noted. Firstly, there are many out there who could still do with some help to "surf" the internet for information. Secondly, was how to do a decent power-point presentation.
One of the "tips" I left was how to ensure that your scanned or digital photos do not at the end of the day make your power-point file too big to manage...and thereby being unable to save it in a floppy disk. The secret is to compress the pictures before pasting them on your power-point slides. How is it done?......well I shall leave this for another article.....
Today I would like to share some of the O&G sites that I found useful.
